Chris McCabe
Chris McCabe comes to Good Group Decisions with career experience in the nonprofit sector gained while working at the Maine Association of Nonprofits. He graduated from Bowdoin College in 2005 with a degree in Economics and Theater and is a 2008 candidate for admission to the University of Maine School of Law. He is also enrolled at the Muskie School of Public Service. Chris grew up in the small town of Winslow, Maine, which is located in Kennebec County, 15 miles north of Augusta.
Chris assists with meetings and prepares meeting reports, in addition to a variety of other tasks.
In addition to working for Good Group Decisions, Chris's time is now spent studying for LSATs and taking care of a 4-month old baby girl in a 'mannying' capacity. His wife, Brianna, works as a Community Outreach Coordinator at the Maine Women's Fund.
After graduating from Bowdoin, Chris spent another summer working at Pine Tree Camp, an overnight camp for children and adults with disabilities in Rome, Maine. Following this, Chris, together with his fiancee, Brianna, ventured to St. John, one of the U.S. Virgin Islands, to work as a construction assistant and painter. A surprising thirst for seasonal weather, along with a desire to live close to family, however, lured them back to Maine. After a two-month volunteering stint in Guatemala, Chris and Brianna married and settled in the Portland, Maine area where they've lived ever since.
