Kerri Sands
Kerri Sands facilitates and records meetings, offers training workshops, and assists with research, report writing, surveys, and marketing. Kerri facilitates conference breakout sessions, stakeholder input processes, focus groups, and team building. She assists Craig in the Brunswick office with a variety of communications, marketing, administration, and special projects.
Kerri joined Good Group Decisions in 2009, bringing considerable experience in meeting facilitation, having worked for six years with Coastal Enterprises, Inc. as the director of Maine’s Farms for the Future program. Kerri has facilitated hundreds of team planning meetings and guided many small business owners to completion of their business plans. She has led workshops and trainings on cooperative communication, team building, team-based planning, program evaluation, and small business development. In the past, Kerri served as an assistant and Director of Research with the Center for Interim Programs in Cambridge, MA, where she helped college-bound students reenergize their life paths through creative, structured gap year programs.
A native of Maine, Kerri graduated from College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, ME with a BA in Human Ecology, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration at Southern New Hampshire University in Brunswick. Kerri has completed several entrepreneurship training courses and has studied the Holistic Management decision making process, with a particular interest in its application to rural business and community development.
Historically a rural and small-town dweller, Kerri is at present sampling the urban lifestyle of Portland, with her partner Ed - and their motley collection of bicycles.
