About Amy
Amy Scott has been working with Good Group Decisions since 2004. Amy facilitates meetings and also attends meetings with Craig and prepares meeting reports. She also conducts surveys and research for clients and assists Craig with a variety of other tasks.
Amy's experience as a facilitator began while working at her alma mater -- College of the Atlantic. Together with college faculty and community leaders, Amy helped to form the Union River Watershed Coalition in Hancock County, as well as a watershed studies program at the college. Community outreach efforts continued during Amy's years with the Northern Forest Center. Her work reached into Northern Forest communities across New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Amy has also worked with the Mahoosuc Land Trust on Land for Maine's Future projects in the Mahoosuc Mountains.
In a volunteer role, Amy is working to revitalize a vegetable garden at the Bryant Pond 4-H Camp and Learning Center (formerly the Maine Conservation School). Besides providing kids with fresh foods, the garden project is the seed of a long-term endeavor to offer campers healthy, sustainable, locally-grown food, as well as a fun educational experience.
Amy and her husband built their home in Greenwood, Maine where she spends most of her time with her young daughter, building vegetable gardens, exploring the land and loving life as a new mother.
